For the past 5 years I have been teaching art classes, from toddlers to adults. All of my classes prioritize experiential and process based learning. For me, all art making is about observing, whether we are seeing something outside of ourselves, or observing our own processes and tendencies. I love to notice what comes naturally, and love to get students out of their comfort zone, to see what happens when they try something new. How and where can we see what we didn’t see before?
